Artist: Kate Taylor

Kate Taylor sings another of the great songs on Follow That Road. It's called "Flying In The Face of Mr. Blue". She is magnificent. She's James Taylor's sister, but it doesn't seem fair to refer to all James' siblings as such. I wouldn't like it if Allan became famous and suddenly I was always introduced as Allan's sister. Kate is wonderful in her own right, and the Taylors are an all-around talented bunch, is all. Although she did name an album Sister Kate...

Kate has her own website now! It's at www.KateTaylor.com. She also has a new album coming out soon. There's a single you can get this instant; she and her husband and brother wanted to resurrect the rest of the verses of Auld Lang Syne. The single is a benefit for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Why not go read about it?

You can still find more info about her at James Taylor Online. Including pictures. She has the same eyes as James; it's kind of scary.

(For more on siblings of famous singers, you might want to read poor Christine Lavin's Brother's take on this.)
