Nanci Griffith is a sweet-voiced musician who's
probably more country than anything else. She sings with a Texas twang
that lends authenticity and the air of the traditional to even a song she
wrote day before yesterday. A good introductory album would be Other
Voices, Other Rooms, which has a lot of great songs and great
musicians.
