Artist: Susan Werner
Susan Werner is a great singer-songwriter with a
bluesy feel and an amazing instrumental talent. And boy howdy, she can
sing! I have her CD, The Last Of The Good Straight Girls, and I
like it a lot. However, my favorite song by her that I have heard is on
Follow That Road, the singer-songwriter collection I keep bringing
up on these pages. The song is "Born A Little Late". A lyric:
I was four years old in 1969
When everybody had their thing, and I had mine.
There were some people smoking weed, there were some others doing
speed
But I was way big into raisins at the time.
